"It is a challenging circuit, but it is also historical and it gives young drivers such as myself a real thrill to race at circuits where drivers such a Emerson Fittipaldi have scored victories for the same team."

"A reasonably trouble free day. I had one little spin up at turn twelve when I was trying to find the limit of grip for the car. We worked through our usual programme of balancing the car to the circuit with the tyre construction which Bridgestone have brought here this weekend. So, I am reasonably happy and we will just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I am happy to be second on the grid considering I never really put together a complete lap. Mika on the day was quicker - as he has been all weekend - this is because he is quicker through turn three with a couple of tenths advantage on me. If I had managed to put a quick lap together then I think the difference between us would reflect Mika's two tenths advantage that he achieves at T3, rather than the point seven that it currently is."
