Preview:
"We hope to do a lot better in Brazil than we did in Australia and I think we have good reason to believe we will. I don't expect us to make much head way on McLaren, but I think we can compete more strongly against the other teams."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"I think we can be encouraged by how the car ran today. Although you cannot make a direct comparison between here and Melbourne, we are certainly in better shape. The biggest problem here is bumps - the make driving extremely uncomfortable, and it is easy to lose grip."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I am not having a good weekend. I had thought I would do better here - I certainly felt that we had made progress, but for some reason it was not really coming together today. I cannot put a finger on the problem - the only thing I can think of is the bumpy nature of the track. It is causing me, and others, some problems. My objective in the race is to finish, in the points if possible."

"My start was bad - I was squeezed out at the first corner. I managed to get the inside line but then I could not get across to the right and a whole stream of cars came past. I was being pushed out on to the grass so had to back off and as a result I lost several places. After that, when the train settled down, I was trying to chase Herbert, but I just could not catch anyone. It is very disappointing."
