Гонка (воскресенье):
"The sticking throttle that caused my accident on Saturday morning really ruined my weekend, as if the problems I had on Friday hadn't been enough. My neck was stiff and painful this morning, as a carry over from the shunt. I think the effects of the severe jolt it received only really became apparent after a night's sleep.
"My start wasn't particularly good, and as early as the fifth lap my neck began to feel weak. After a while I tried resting my head on the side of the headrest but this track is so damn bumpy that it was just bouncing around. That made it extremely hard to keep going.
"My pit stop went okay, but the extra grip of the fresh tyres killed my neck altogether. Eventually I was struggling even in the slow corners, so it was better to retire than be a potential menace to everybody else. But this has been a very disappointing weekend for me."
