Preview:
"The circuit of Catalunya is one of the faster tracks in the World Championship and it is very much our home track as we test there so much. It has got a few quite fast corners but unfortunately, in those fast corners, I lose a lot of rubber off my Goodyears - that is why the driving style will be decisive for our pit-stop strategy. I cannot tell right now whether it is good omen for me or not that I know the track that well."

"I am satisfied with both of my practice sessions today. As always the air temperatures during the race weekend are much higher than those experienced throughout the winter test sessions, this refers also to the wind conditions. Therefore we had to find a new set-up and new data for our tyres. However everything went OK for me but unfortunately we still have a problem with oversteer. We gathered a lot of data today so hopefully our homework will pay off in tomorrow's qualifying session."

Квалификация (суббота):
"Following the free practice session this morning we anticipated that the qualifying session was going to be very difficult. Naturally I am saddened by my grid position but since we foresaw it, we were unlikely to have been much better. We now have to go out and fight even harder in tomorrow's race - and I'm aiming to make a strong start as I did in Imola two weeks ago."

"I went for it as I didn't have anything to lose. My car was much better in the race than in qualifying. Unfortunately in the first lap, after I had passed Jean Alesi, he touched me and I spun. I thought that I had a damaged front wing - so I pitted for a new nose. This cost me time - but I fought back. My regular pit-stops were fine - so in the last ten laps I could catch up with Ralf and Jean again. Four laps from the end, in the start finish straight, I was able to overtake them both at the same time. It was tricky but I made it. In the last lap Trulli miscalculated in one corner so I was lucky to also overtake him."
