Preview:
"I like the circuit at Catalunya a lot. It is one of my favourite circuits. Unfortunately, Spain is always a little difficult for me. In 1995 I was stuck in the fifth gear and could not shift anymore and in 1996 I won the race despite the fact that the engine was running only on eight or nine cylinders. But in 1997 I finished only fourth. Hopefully we can do better this year. The circuit is very challenging, it has a lot of high speed corners. Physically it is very demanding and there is only one straight to relax a little bit. It is not easy to find a good set-up of the car on this circuit. So our target has to be to collect as many points as possible."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"The car is pretty much the same as it was here during the test, so our performance is more or less what we had expected. At the end of the session I could not go quicker as there was a lot of traffic and cars going off the track, which made me slow down. Tomorrow I think that third place is the best I can hope to do, unless something unexpected happens. My best wishes to all mothers for Mothers Day this Sunday!"

Квалификация (суббота):
"This morning's problem did not really cost me much time because we have done enough testing here to be ready for the race. Once again third place is the best we could have hoped for here, but the fact there is quite a big gap to the front is not so nice. We will have to work hard to try and close it in the future. For tomorrow we will have to keep a careful eye on the Benettons as they are not far behind and they can run consistently in the race. It will be tough for us tomorrow, but we will do our best with the equipment we have."

Гонка (воскресенье):
"I made a bad start as I got too much wheelspin and I could not recover the situation. I lost two places, but thanks to the team doing a fantastic job I moved up to third after the first pit stop. Maybe the pit lane speed limiter was not working properly and I saw my speed go over the limit for a moment. I came in for the penalty and was fourth behind Wurz. I pushed hard to close the gap to him and again the team called me at just the right moment and that enabled me to get past Wurz. I don't think I could have passed him on the track. Third was the best we could do today, but I think it will be closer in Monaco. We have a big development programme coming and now we must continue to work, work, work. Some of the next few races should suit us better than this one."
