Preview:
"Barcelona will be a crucial test for us. We know the circuit well and the car felt good here in pre-race testing. Since all the teams have tested extensively here, it will be a good indicator of everyone's potential. Setting up the car over the race weekend will be a real challenge.
"Now that we have a good package to work with, I am very keen to get to the races and see if we can pull off a result. We should have done in Imola, but despite not winning any points I think we proved a great deal - we were up there running at the top, which is hugely encouraging. We really must start to win some points and I am as keen as everyone to see if we can do it."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"I don't think our position today really shows the true complexion of things. Other drivers are on different fuel loads and tyres, so it is difficult to make a real comparison of the lap times. We know that we are concentrating on race performance and not on making the changes we know would make us go faster, just to get a better time today. By no means am I despondent at finding myself in 14th place. I can still work very well with the car and the balance was there. We just need to have confidence that the work we have done will come through in a result tomorrow."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I think I got the best out of the car today, plus or minus a couple of tenths. It ran really well and the balance felt very good. The times are very close and there are cars which qualified higher than us because they were running on different tyres. I think this will be an advantage to us in the race, as we have the option to make fewer stops. I am confident the car will be good in hot weather race conditions, and I believe we will be in good shape tomorrow."

"It was quite definitely the engine - it went bang right in front of the pits. I made a reasonable start but then was pushed out by Villeneuve who squeezed his way through, so by the first corner I had lost the few places I had made up at the start. Then I was having a good race with Johnny (Herbert) who was a bit faster, but I was pushing and trying to keep the pressure on him. Then things went wrong when I lost eight seconds running wide on the lap before my pit stop. After the stop, I was going down to turn one and Frentzen came out of the pits and pushed me off the track! That was annoying because I was up there possibly fighting for points and he was well behind, but in the end of course, it did not matter."
