Preview:
"I was happy to finish the race in Imola, although not pleased with the result. I was not too nervous on the start after all the practices we had done in Silverstone which helped a lot, but I still have more room for improvement.
"I do not see any reason why we should not be between 5th and 8th position in Barcelona, although we still need to work on our race performance as we still struggle with that a little, compared to qualifying. We know a lot more about the Circuit de Catalunya than we did about the circuit in Imola, and the car is definitely better in Spain this year than it was last year, so these are reasons to be optimistic.
"I have to do National Service if I have time between racing and testing, which means I do not get the chance to go very often. The last time I was there was for two days in March, and since then I have been too busy working on the car.
"I am enjoying my season very much this year. It is easier when you know everyone and know how to work with them. Now that I am into my second year with Jordan in Formula One I feel much more settled and relaxed. It means you can concentrate much more on what is important, and not worry about having to learn lots of knew things."

"Our position today does not look great, but I am not concerned because, considering the settings we had on the car, I had expected to post slower lap times. The wind really came up today and it was quite a bit hotter than when we tested here last week. This made the car more difficult to set up, but it gave us more information to work from."

Квалификация (суббота):
"The car felt good, especially on my first timed run. But I had quite a lot of traffic which slowed me down (Johnny Herbert in the first section of my first run and Irvine in the first section of my fourth run). But when you consider how close the times are I am quite happy. We should see a good race tomorrow with everyone so close together."

Гонка (воскресенье):
"I must say that the car felt really very good and when I was alone on the circuit I was able to put in some good times. The tyres also felt ok, but to be honest we do need a little more power to help us in overtaking. I had thought that it would have been easier to overtake as the car felt really good and I was often in the right position to overtake, especially after the last turn, but I was not able to. Basically the car is good and with a little more improvement in all areas and we could be up there. I did not think the start itself was too bad, although I did have wheel spin and lost a few positions. Where I really lost places was in the first two corners where there was a lot of confusion and I had to go onto the grass. But I am conscious now that when the cars are so close together I would prefer to avoid the situation by going off onto the grass rather than staying on. I felt that if I had tried to stay on the track in this situation today I would not have finished the first lap."
