Свободные заезды (пятница):
"I focussed on my set-up for the race. The lap-times are not yet competitive, but we want to try some new ideas tomorrow, so we will see! "

Квалификация (суббота):
"I still cannot find a set-up that makes me feel comfortable with my car and so it is difficult to set a good lap-time. The car feels nervous for me. On my last run, on fresh tyres, I didn't manage to improve because I could not get enough temperature into the tyres. At the moment, I am not pleased with the car I have."

"I had a very good start, making up five places. But, on my first set of tyres, I did not have enough grip to attack Damon Hill, who was ahead of me. Then, after the first pit-stop, the car started to perform well. I set some good lap-times and, for the first time this weekend, I felt good. Unfortunately, again, I did not have much luck, as the tyre moved on the rim and caused vibrations. I came back to the pits to change tyres. I had a good battle with Jean Alesi, but I was not too happy because I believed that the blue flags were waved at me, to let Frentzen pass, but he was not a lap ahead of me, as I thought, and I lost a place for nothing..."
