Preview:
"Monaco is something very special in the Grand Prix schedule. The whole city changes completely in the race week-end an has an exceptional atmosphere. Racing so close to the barriers is always thrilling. Key points are blind corners such as the Casino one. Overtaking is almost impossible. Only at Loews there is a chance to overtake but here you will have to take a high risk. I am fairly optimistic as I expect us to be more competitive than at the last race."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"We are still slightly behind the McLarens, but the gap is not too big and this is what we had expected here. As for the accident, I was trying too hard and lost control. I think we can improve the car a little bit for qualifying. I am happy that the new Goodyear tyres are a clear improvement and are contributing to our competitiveness."

Квалификация (суббота):
"On Thursday I expected we would be a bit nearer to the pole time. However, today I think I might have gone just one tenth of a second quicker, so I got almost the maximum out of the car, which was very well balanced. From this morning it was obvious that Bridgestone runners had an advantage in terms of traction out of the corners. Together with Goodyear we are working in the right direction to improve for the future. As for the race, I hope to get on the podium."

"After the incident with Wurz, my car was damaged and I felt something was wrong at the rear so I pitted. I thought my race was over, but the mechanics managed to change the track rod and so I continued, but the car was not quite as good as before. Having lost three laps, there was not much more I could do. I could only hope for rain or some other incidents that we know can often happen here. I tried to pass Alex, as he left the door open. We touched, but very lightly, it was just a normal incident and I definitely do not blame him. Our situation in the Championship is obviously not very good as the "wrong" McLaren had the technical problem! I hope in Canada the new tyre development we tried at the last tests will prove as good as they did then. We should be more competitive in the next few races."
