Свободные заезды (пятница):
"This morning I crashed, damaging my nose cone and front wing and losing most of the session. Then this afternoon I got a couple of runs in and then the third gear stripped and seized the gear box. I slowed down and changed into second gear coming into the chicane but then the car locked up and stopped. So that meant I lost most of the afternoon session as well! Of course I have done plenty of running here before but it meant that as far as today's session went, we were playing 'catch-up'. It is difficult to put your finger on exactly why we were not fast enough; I think it is a combination of lack of traction and lack of time to work on set up. I found that the grooved tyres made the cars more tricky round this circuit as they made it tougher to get control of the car."

Квалификация (суббота):
"We are trying hard to keep our spirits up but it has to be admitted that this is not as good a performance as we would like! I think we have to consider every angle and not become hooked on finding one thing which will be the 'quick fix'. As a package we simply are not where we want to be and it will be a tough race tomorrow. I seemed to lose most of my lap time braking too early at the Loews corner. I had expected to post a time in the 1.22s but in any case even if I had gone sixth tenths quicker, I would be in the same place, so we really have lots of work to do."

"This was not a rewarding race. You always push hoping, especially in Monaco, something will happen to move you up the grid. But all weekend, nothing we have done has been good enough and it is quite tough to compete under those circumstances."
