Свободные заезды (пятница):
"Things felt good today with the car. I thought the windy conditions might make the handling difficult, but in fact the balance was fine. I did not get the chance to go out on new tyres so the lap times should still improve. I feel we should be between 8th and 12th tomorrow in qualifying."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I am really happy about my fifth place - I had expected us to be between 8th and 12th. The car certainly seems to suit this circuit much better than Monaco, and the new Goodyear tyres and qualifying engine Honda has provided have made a big difference. The way I have chosen to set up the car (which is completely different from Damon's set up) seems to work very well for me. We really have the opportunity to win points tomorrow and I really hope I can make a good start and finish in the top six."

"On the first start I stalled the engine; the clutch came in quite harshly and the engine stopped. At the second start I put the revs higher and that was too much for the clutch and I lost the rear drive. There was a little drive to begin with but at the first corner when I shifted down there was no more drive on the wheel and no engine brake so I spun."
