Preview:
"I'm confident after the Silverstone test that we are making significant progress with the handling and performance of the car. We worked on a set-up which should be well suited to the demands of the Montreal circuit. I qualified third here last year so I'll be aiming for at least a top 10 spot this time. If we can achieve the sort of reliability we found in Barcelona, I'd expect to be in the points again."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"I spent most of today working at improving the brakes after we experienced problems with the stability of the car. It is something we will be working on overnight to ensure we are in better shape for qualifying. This makes my eighth place particularly pleasing and I'm confident we can improve tomorrow."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I'm very disappointed. I gave it my best but things didn't go my way right from the start when I had problems with my braking. I felt I drove as well as I could but I lost laps this morning after the rear end locked up. In qualifying when we didn't have the use of a T-car I had to settle for a time which I was not happy with. I felt I could have done a 1:19.2 which would have put me around sixth which was about right for the way the car was performing despite the brake problems. As the for the race, rain would be nice!"

"It was a good race to be part of. I guess we seemed to be on the lucky side when the accidents were happening but maybe we were due a change of fortune. We decided to go for a small amount of wing and two stops which worked out well. Unfortunately my brakes were fading which was a shame because I couldn't push the car as I would have liked. I felt I could have got at least third but another two points is very, very satisfying."
