Preview:
"Even though I don't have fond memories of Montreal, my race ended last year after a coming together with Nakano on the first lap, I'm keen to experience racing on the circuit again. The track layout means there are chances for overtaking - a nice change from Monaco."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"We struggled with the brake balance throughout today. We changed the gear ratios between the two sessions which was why I was late out in the afternoon. However I think we had arrived at a good set-up. I went out on new tyres and a low fuel load, ready for a quick lap, when the rear locked and I spun off just before the hairpin."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I had an accident in practice in Corner 3. I lost control of the car, hit the kerb, flew over the grass and hit the wall which caused a lot of damage to my car. I was unable to participate in the second practice session and had to go straight into qualifying in the T-car. The T-car feels similar to my own but the main problem throughout the session was a lack of traction. I will continue to use the T-car for tomorrow's race."

Гонка (воскресенье):
"I'm really happy. To score my first Formula One World Championship point ever is great but to get it this weekend where I have had so many problems makes it even more special. I must admit that when I woke up this morning I didn't imagine I would finish sixth. I had an incredible first lap gaining 12 positions followed by a fantastic race - running as high as 4th. I was involved in some good battles particularly with Panis and Nakano. We choose the right pit stop strategy stopping only once."
