Preview:
"I have always liked racing on the Magny Cours track. Having learned a lot more about the car since the start of the season, I believe the circuit will suit us because of the long, fast straights. Hopefully I can get a better qualifying position than I did in Montreal though the race was very exciting from a personal and team point of view. To get both cars home and in the points was a real bonus particularly with so much happening during the race. To have four points at the half-way stage of the season is very encouraging. I am looking forward to the French race. I am confident that after the performance and reliability of the car and engine in Montreal, I can score a few more points in France."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"Both the car and the engine seem to be running well. However I'm having problems under braking which means I'm unable to push the car to the limit on some sections of the circuit. This is something we will work hard to rectify in time for tomorrow's qualifying session."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I think that's the best I could have done though I fell short of my target of top 12 or better. I'm encouraged for the race however, because we had a similar situation to Argentina where the competition for grid positions was very tight. I was reasonably happy with my best lap and I have to pay tribute to the team for working hard at solving the braking problems I had yesterday and this morning. I have a strong belief that my tyres will ensure I run well in the race."

"I was fighting the car the whole race which made it quite tough. Because I couldn't control the pace I didn't really get the best out of the car. That was the story of the weekend really. But I'm not too disappointed because at least we have found reliability. I can feel the potential the car has and I know that once we get the car right in terms of set-up and performance, we can show just how competitive we are."
