"I Already knew the circuit of Silverstone even before running last week's test. I ran here in 1996 with Formula 3000. Speaking about today, we tried many set-ups with rear suspension and dynamic weight distribution, we are still confident to optimise this during tomorrows practice for qualifying ."

Квалификация (суббота):
"My qualifying was quite lively, because with 10 minutes still to go before the end of the time, my car had a problem with the clutch which could not be fitted in time. The spare car was prepared for Shinji, therefore we waited until last minute to use it. The mechanics were very speedy in preparing it for me and so I could go back onto the track for the last 5 minutes. It was a good thing, because - just 60 seconds before the end - I managed to better all the three split times, gaining my quickest lap. The car behaved well and I made all my turns without any mistake: a good lap, definetely. Anyway, tomorrow for the race, I will use my race car, whereas the T-car will be prepared for Shinji, as scheduled."

"My race was quite slow, but I could not go faster. I lost a lot of time in the first part of the race, when the track was getting dry and my tyres were getting worse lap after lap. Then, thank God, it started raining once again. At the half-way of the race I was behind Rosset, who I tried to pass a couple of times. Unfortunately, when he went off the track, I made a mistake and I ... followed him onto the sand."
