"The atmosphere at Hockenheim is amazing. The crowds are so supportive and not just of Schumacher! The track is also a fantastic experience, especially as you disappear into the forest. Here you have time to listen to the engine note, look at the wheels, the mirrors, and consider what you are doing before appearing once again in front of the crowd."

"We improved the car throughout the session and I am pleased with the performance. Now we are concentrating on setting the car up for tomorrow's qualifying but everything looks very promising."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I am very happy to be starting from pole position for tomorrow's Grand Prix especially as it the home race for so many of our Partners. To put in a quicker pole position lap time than last year is very satisfying but the real contest will be tomorrow at 2.00pm."

"It is great to be on the top of the podium again especially as it is Mercedes-Benz home Grand Prix. We had opted to start with a heavy fuel load to cover all options during the race but following my pitstop there was a concern that my fuel consumption was greater than expected. However, this turned out not to be problem. I also felt as though the car lost some power towards the end of the race so I slowed down to make sure nothing serious happened. All in all a really great finish to the weekend."
