"I was not able to find the right balance today and found the car a little nervous. But Damon has managed to get a good performance out of the car, so I think once I have sat down and gone through the data, things should be better for tomorrow."

Квалификация (суббота):
"This really was my day! I am very pleased with how the car worked and the qualifying engine from Honda helped our performance. It is very nice to have this result here in Germany. Normally when you want something so badly it does not work that way, but for me today it did so I am very happy. It is encouraging to see how we have closed up so well on the competition. I did not expect to qualify ahead of Michael and I am sorry for him that he did not have a good day. No doubt he will make up for it tomorrow. Hopefully we will be able to keep our position in the race and win more points."

Гонка (воскресение):
"On reflection I think the pit stop strategy I chose together with my engineers did not work out for us, although I do not think that was the main reason why I did not finish as high up as I had hoped. After the first pit stop the car did not feel the same as it had done all weekend. I was not able to brake as late as I had been and I was losing grip so I was not able to keep the same pace as I had at the beginning. I am not sure what the problem was - we will need to have a look. It was disappointing not to be able to keep the place I had in qualifying, but under the circumstances I believe we did quite well to win a point."
