Preview:
"Although we are still slow on a straight line the car is really good on braking and has mega traction. The circuit is so different from any other on the Grand Prix calendar and I quite like it. I am greatly encouraged by the car's performance at our recent test in Monza, where we concentrated our work amongst other things on achieving a good aerodynamic set-up for high speed circuits. I am sure that I will achieve my fastest time at Hockenheim."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"I had a few problems during both sessions, but none that we cannot put right before Saturday's qualifying. I feel confident. about our chances for tomorrow, especially after our encouraging performance at the test in Monza."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I tried to improve on my time, but I just could not find the right balance. Although the car feels very comfortable, I do suffer from recurring oversteer. Apart from that the performance of both engine and Bridgestone tyres were very satisfactory."

Гонка (воскресение):
"I had a good race in the first stages mainly with Verstappen who I tried to pass on several occasions, however, I was slower on the straights. My pitstop wasn't very good. I had a clutch problem and when I rejoined I was racing against Tagaki. During the last lap I caught him but the following corner was overtaken again, which was disappointing for me. Otherwise I am happy with my race - I was flat out from start to finish, no mistakes at all."
