Preview:
"Normally the Hungaroring is very slippery because there is all the sand on the track surface. It is a bit bumpy as well. It is always quite difficult to find the right set-up and the race always turn out to be tough because the absence of long straight means that you never have a chance to relax. The city of Budapest has a special atmosphere, especially Bud and the atmosphere of the circuit is also very pleasant, with the public sitting on the grass, because it remind me of the old days in racing. I hope we have more competitive in Hungary than in Hockenheim."

"This morning showed the Goodyear rain tyres are very competitive in heavy rain. Things seemed a little bit more difficult as the rain eased off. This afternoon showed that we are in much better shape than in Hockenheim. The gap to the front runners is not too big. However, we need to see who was using new or old tyres at what point in the session, to have a clearer picture of where we stand."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I aborted my first run because I was held up by a driver who did not looks in his mirrors. I could not improve my qualifying time on my last run as we made a change to the set-up which did not work and all the section times were slower. I also made a mistake on the second to last corner, which is why I came back to the pits. We did not expect to challenge for pole position today, so this morning we concentrated on finding a good race set-up. Therefore I am quite satisfied with our work. I can have a good race starting from third position. With the right strategy we have a chance tomorrow and I believe we will make the most of it."

Гонка (воскресение):
"I thought we would be competitive today but I never dreamed I would leave Hungary having closed the championship gap from 16 just to 7 points. This was one of my most emotional wins, thanks to the reaction of all the Ferrari fans after the race. All the hard work we did during last week's six day Fiorano test, really paid off today. Once again the team picked the right strategy, although at first I was not quite sure if our plan would work out, as I was stuck behind Jacques and David for some time. In the end, it turned out that the team had made the right decision. Of course we benefited from the problems of our competitors, although throughout the race I could easily match the pace of the McLarens. With four races to go, the championship seems to be wide open. When I went off the track I did not realise I was already in the lead. Ross told me I had 19 laps to make up a 25 second lead to stay in front after my third pit stop, so I pushed as hard as possible. Now I am looking forward to celebrating with my family at home."
