Preview:
"I like the Hungaroring very much. Last year I qualified on the third row but did not have a good race. I think the F 300 will suit this track and I expect we can perform well in Budapest. Obviously it is very slow and twisty but I like a track that keeps you busy in the cockpit. Qualifying will be vital as overtaking is almost impossible, except at the first and third corners."

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"A difficult day. The car is hard to drive over the bumps and kerbs. At the corner after the bumpy downhill section I had to turn in where I thought the corner was as I could not see properly, the car was bouncing so much. We have to work hard now to find a solution. The tyres are okay and the balance of the car is quite good. The track was in worse conditions than usual for a Friday afternoon as the rain meant there was no rubber put down from the morning session."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I am actually happy to be fifth rather than fourth as the other side of the track is very dirty. We improved the car since this morning but it is still not perfect. We could make the car better over the bumps but I had to run it stiffer for qualifying and I will run it that way for the race also, as although we can make it comfortable, it is too slow with that set-up. That means it will be a physically tough race for me. It is nice to be back at the right end of the grid again. I hope it will be much hotter tomorrow as my tyres work better in those conditions. It was a shame the cloud cover arrived today. With two McLarens and Michael ahead of me it might be hard to make the podium, but anything could happen."

"I retired because I had lost fourth and fifth gears. I cannot complain as this is my first mechanical failure of the season. It is a shame, as given the result of the race I could have been on the podium today. I have now had two bad races in a row, so I hope it will be third time lucky in Belgium."
