"This morning we had a good run, and experimented with a change in the set-up which yielded a slight improvement. Unfortunately, however, I lost 10 minutes this afternoon with electrical trouble, and right at teh end my last run was spoiled by intermittent fel surge. In between those problems, though, I managed a reasonable lap on old tyres, so I'm quite optimistic for tomorrorw. The handling is good here, and so is the balance."

Квалификация (суббота):
"We changed the set-up slightly as the session continued, trying to improve the balance. On my last run I had a very good first section time, but under braking for turn 6 the back stepped out as I downshifted, so I was on slightly the wrong line for the back straight. That cost me time and I couldn't quite make it all up again at the chicane. But it's good to have things going back in teh right direction again after my recent run of problems."

"My start wasn't great, and though we had reverted to our Saturday set-up I still had much of the massive understeer I'd experienced after we tried a change this morning. I changed my style when I got my second set of tyres, to try and minimise the problem, and to an extent it worked. I was closing on Jean, but just as it was getting interesting the engine broke."
