Свободные заезды (пятница):
"Our main problems are grip and persistent under-steering. I didn't use new tyres this afternoon and ran with a very heavy fuel load. Tomorrow we will work on the qualifying set-up."

Квалификация (суббота):
"We worked on finding a set-up that gave us more grip. We had succeeded in part by the time I went out on my last set of tyres. I felt more secure so I went flat out. Usually I am not satisfied if I qualify in seventh position, but considering the problems we have had here in Francorchamps I am really pleased. At the end of my flying lap, I had to stop on the track because of an electrical problem."

"I don't understand why they waited so long to bring out the safety car. You couldn't see anything and I destroyed my car when I crashed into Nakano's Minardi. On my last 10 laps the visibility was zero. My first start was really good which meant I avoided the huge accident just after the first corner. Unfortunately the second start didn't go very well and I lost a few positions."
