Preview:
"If we keep knocking on the door we will eventually finish in the top three. Spa is a circuit which gives you the sense of 'going somewhere' rather than just going round in a tight circle. It gives you a feeling of being let lose in an F1 car - it's fantastic! It is a relatively long lap and you get so far away from the pits when you get to Les Combes that you get a sense of being on your own which you don't get on other circuits. Eau Rouge is the corner which is unlike any other corner on any other circuit. It is an awe inspiring section of the track and the part which gives you a real kick when you drive through it."

"Once again we are looking competitive and we seem to be comfortably in the top six. There are perhaps a few improvements we can make to the car, but overall I am pleased with the progress we made today. The conditions were tricky because it was damp to start with and then there was drizzle at the end, but you have to take what comes here as far as the weather goes. I would prefer a dry race but I think the car would also be good in wet conditions."

"This is absolutely brilliant! I am very happy. Much of this result is due to the exceptionally hard work of everyone at B & H Jordan and at Mugen-Honda because to get from where we were at the start of the season to where we are now is a tremendous effort. We are the leading Goodyear runner today, which is also a fantastic achievement. I must say I think I am driving very well and I am really enjoying myself. I want to celebrate this moment before looking forward to what we can achieve tomorrow. I have worked very well with my race engineer (Dino Toso) and we are not going to give up at just getting a good qualifying result."

"I feel great. I said I wanted to give Jordan it's first Grand Prix win and it is fantastic to have achieved that. We were strong all weekend here and knew we were in with a chance of winning. To finish first and second shows just how competitive we were. I think this is a greatly deserved victory. I went for a lower downforce set-up at the restart, but that worked against me and Michael Schumacher was able to get past because my car was acquaplaning on certain parts of the circuit. The conditions were very difficult - I touched a Prost at one point - it was raining very hard in some places, and there were lots of incidents. I am going to have a party tonight to celebrate this. This result is due to some incredibly hard work by everyone at Jordan, at Mugen-Honda and Goodyear. Now we have achieved it let's go on to even greater things!"
