Из высказываний

Свободные заезды (пятница):
"By using the test bench, which is now fully operational at the Guyancourt factory, we were able make progress with modifications to the suspension. We have also benefited from some new parts which have improved the car's performance. There are three major areas which we are prioritizing - general road holding, power transfer when the car comes out of a bend, and stability on bumpy sections."

Квалификация (суббота):
"I had to abandon the second free-trials session this morning because of a problem with the transmission arm. And during the qualifying round, I came up against the same problem I had in Hungary - uneven braking from lap to lap. Sometimes the car was braking too hard at the front and sometimes too hard at the back. Twice I lost control of the rear of the car, culminating in a spectacular spin on the Source chicane. By the end of the qualifying round I had only completed two runs instead of four, but taking everything together I am not sure it made any difference to my place on the starting grid."

Гонка (воскресение):
"I couldn't get into first gear and found myself stuck there on the starting grid. By the time I got going I was in last place as we headed into the Source chicane. It's hard to imagine a worse start to a race. The main priority in a situation like that is to make sure you don't make any silly mistakes. Half-way through the race, Alain advised me against trying to catch up with Diniz in his Arrow's car - and he was right. I stuck to the race strategy right up to the moment I crossed the finishing line, and it paid off."
