Свободные заезды (пятница):
"We spent most of the day honing the set-up, using the direction I had was interrupted by an engine problem just as I was nearing the pits, so I coasted in."

Квалификация (суббота):
"We changed a lot of things in the set-up all through the day - virtually everything! And the car felt a lot better. But where Eau Rouge was the problem initially, the focus then switched to Stavelot. I was having trouble getting out of that cleanly, and that affected my speed all the way down to the Bus Stop chicane. I'm beginning to think that I haven't yet got my car tuned for the latest tyres. It allows over in hard cornering, and that doesn't give you the confidence to push really hard at a circuit like this. But I'm looking forward to the race. I think we'll be in good shape then."

"At the first start I could sense things moving oddly in the ball of spray ahead of me, then suddenly a wheel came flying over my head. Then I found myself spinning after somebody hit me. I took the spare for the restart, but that didn't even last as long as the first for me. Mika spun, and like David with Mika Salo in Austria, he was trying to flick it back the right way and just caught my rear suspension as I tried to squeeze by. It was too badly damaged to continue.
